I'm sure you are anxiously waiting for me to spew forth some words of wisdom.... However, that's not how I roll! I like, my sister, sometimes just like to spill my thoughts and happenings of the day and that was the only benefit to MySpace. I have missed being able to blog and see where my thoughts take me.
This is my first official teaching year :) I now have health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance - so does my husband. That's a wonderful feeling. Although, I am awaiting anxiously to see what Barack Obama has in store for Health Care reform. Because, I for one, would love to know that my premium for Health Insurance actually meant that things would be covered and paid for. But most of the time you sit on pins and needles wondering if the health insurance company is taking your premium every month and then waiting to deny your first large claim. Everything is a pre-existing condition. And heaven forbid you get cancer. I think reform is definitely in order, but I just wonder at the best way for that to happen.
Now I just sit and worry about the actualities of paying my student loan debt.... I think that is an atrocity, too, but what can I do?! I signed on the dotted line, got my education, and now I have to pay for it.... But it stresses me out beyond belief.
I still don't have my car. 4 weeks and $10,000 (at least auto insurance paid my claims without one single problem or issue - go ERIE!) later, it's still in the shop. I'm wondering if, now, it wasn't pushing close to being totaled. I think Erie may end up getting screwed in this deal, but hey, at least it isn't me!
